About me

Ben Gleaves is a licensed therapist, co-founder of KC Counseling Center, and creator of the Thrive Co-Parenting System™—a practical, research-supported framework designed to help families navigate co-parenting with stability, clarity, and compassion.

 

With a background in counseling, leadership, and organizational systems, Ben has spent years helping individuals, couples, and families develop healthier communication patterns and long-term emotional resilience. His work blends clinical insight with real-life practicality, making his teaching style grounded, direct, and accessible.

 

Ben is passionate about empowering parents to work together—even in difficult circumstances—and is committed to strengthening communities through emotional education, conflict resolution, and healthy relationship skills.

 

When he isn’t in session or teaching, Ben enjoys studying leadership development, spending time with his family, and working on new tools to support modern co-parenting dynamics.
